Our expert dental team is headed by Mark Hill. Graduating from King’s College, London in 1992, Mark has a long and well established career working in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. Having worked with some of the UK’s leading cosmetic & restorative consultants, Mark is at the frontiers of his field of expertise. He has studied in both Manchester and Berlin and was awarded his Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry in 1996.
Mark’s work predominantly focuses on providing clients with complete cosmetic and restorative dental solutions which meet their needs and is underpinned by the philosophy of preventative dental care and maintaining dental health for life.
Mark’s special area of interest is Toothwear. His extensive skills enable him to rectify aging or worn teeth and to design and rejuvenate beautiful smiles. Mark also accepts Tooth Wear Referrals. He has undertaken an advanced study in tooth wear and smile design at the internationally acclaimed Kois center, Seattle USA with Mr John Kois who is world famous in this field.
Mark is also a Vocational Dental Practitioner trainer and frequently provides instruction and lectures for newly qualified dentists and fellow dental professionals on subjects of tooth wear, crown and bridge work and cosmetic dentistry.
Mark bought and became principal of his progressive city center practice – Park Place Dental Practice – in 2000. He has developed this into a recognised class leading practice serving Cardiff’s city centre professional clientele. His practice was a finalist in the 2005 and 2006 Private Dentistry Awards and Mark has also been nominated for the Leading Wales Business Awards.
He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and The British Society of Restorative Dentistry.
As a person, Mark is often described by his patients and staff as being a very honest, down to earth, dedicated and conscientious man who clearly demonstrates that he genuinely cares about people and the quality of the service they receive.
Mark is married and has two daughters.
