Anti Wrinkle treatments, such as Botox, work very effectively on lines that can be seen on the face when the muscles move. The treatment will eliminate these lines around the eyes, frown lines and forehead as you can see from the pictures below. Any lines that are visible AT REST are not suitable for treatment with anti wrinkle therapy and will need other cosmetic procedures, such as dermal fillers or surgery, which we do not provide.
In order to assess if you are suitable for anti wrinkle treatments you will need a full assessment. The fee for this is £60 which is deducted from your treatments if you are suitable and decide to go ahead.
Our fees range from £200 – £320 depending on the number of sites being treated.
Wrinkles result from aging, muscle activity and your genetic predisposition. In addition, excessive sun exposure, alcohol consumption, stress and hormonal influences can also deepen the effect of an aged appearance. Whilst you may be able to reduce or control some factors, on many occasions this will only result in slowing the process down instead of improving your appearance.
How can we help you?
We can provide you with treatment specifically aimed to help more youthful appearance in a controlled environment. Some people may find it unusual that many dentists now offer anti-wrinkle treatment, but what they haven’t considered is the extensive training that your practitioner has undergone in facial anatomy with their dentistry education alone.
Our highly regulated environment means you could not be in safer hands in terms of cleanliness, knowledge and our ethical approach in helping you achieve your desired result. If you are interested in talking about skin health treatments, please book a consultation with one of our reception team.
Who can benefit from this treatment?
Both men and women who feel younger than they look and want to regain that youthful glow are most suitable, as this treatment helps to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Please note we do not provide dermal fillers.
How long does treatment take?
In most cases the treatment will take between 20-30 minutes. Effects will begin to appear very quickly within 48-72 hours, although the full extent of the treatment may not be visible for up to ten days. Approximately two weeks after the first treatment, the effects will be reviewed with your practitioner and any further treatments or top-ups can be discussed.
How long will the treatment last?
Initially the improvement that you receive from this treatment will last from three to four months. You will notice a gradual fading of the effect and at this stage you can return
for another appointment if you want to. With repeated treatments the effects last longer. On many occasions this will only result in slowing the process down instead of improving your appearance.

Do the effects of this treatment look artificial?
No, unlike some surgical facelifts, this kind of treatment is very specific and works only on those muscles that are involved in producing the facial lines that you want to reduce. Other muscles are unaffected and this means that your facial expressions remain the same.
Are there any adverse effects?
The worst that you would potentially face is some localised bruising, mild swelling or redness at the site of the injection. A temporary drooping eyelid may occur in some patients. This usually disappears very quickly.
This particular treatment has been used for thousands of patients in the last fifteen years with an excellent safety record. The best part is that you can resume your normal activities as soon as treatment is finished.
Is this treatment uncomfortable?
Very tiny needles are used and only small amounts are administered. As a result of this, any discomfort is usually minimal and short lived which is why there’s no need for local anaesthesia.
